The Process
From report to recovery in five steps
Report Your Stolen Vehicle
Fill in our simple report form with your vehicle details: plate number, state, make, model, colour, and any distinguishing features. Upload photos if you have them. The report goes live in our database instantly.
Important: Always file a police report first. Our platform supplements, not replaces, official reporting.
Network Activation
Once registered, your vehicle is flagged across our entire network. Security operators with ANPR cameras, dashcam users with integrated systems, and community members searching plates can all see the stolen status.
API partners: Security companies, parking operators, and fleet managers receive real time alerts.
Community Monitoring
Thousands of Australians use our platform daily. When someone spots a vehicle matching a stolen report, they can submit a sighting with location, time, and context. Dashcam and security camera footage can also be submitted.
Instant Notification
When a sighting is submitted, the original reporter is notified with all available details: location, time, source, and any notes from the person who spotted the vehicle. This information can be forwarded to police.
Information shared: Location, time, direction of travel, source type, confidence level
Recovery & Closure
Once your vehicle is recovered, mark it as recovered on our platform. The plate is removed from the active stolen list, and the record is archived. The recovery story can help other victims.
Average recovery time: 11 days
